Getting Started
- Open YahElite if it's not already open.
- Click 'Paste' in YahSEek to paste the command to activate it into YahELite.
(If that doesn't work copy and paste this into where you normally type in YahELite - /extend ThunderRT6FormDC YahSEek).- YahELite should display 'Extension Active' in the chat screen.
- YahSEek is now ready.
Controlling YahSEek
YahSEek is controlled through commands typed into YahELite just like you type in normal commands.
The only difference is you put '/ex ' at the start to tell YahELite that it's a command for the extension.
The Commands for YahSEek are :
/ex g 'text' to search Google for 'text' and display the first result.
/ex g3 'text' to search Google for 'text' and display first 3 result's headers and URLs.
/ex g5 'text' to search Google for 'text' and display first 5 URLs.
/ex d 'text' to get the definition of 'text'.
/ex a 'text' to get the definition of an acronym.
/ex c to speak to Confucious.
/ex uptime will display how long your computer has been running.
/ex conv 'from'-'to' 'amount' to convert 'amount' 'from' one currency 'to' another.
/ex currencies for a list of currencies supported by /ex conv.
/ex trans 'language' 'text' to translate 'text' to/from the specified language. Read help file for more details.
/ex news 'text' to get the latest headline. Include 'text' to search for 'text' on the news server.
/ex insult (name) to get a random insult, include a name to insult them.
/ex abuse (name) to get random abuse, include a name to abuse them.
/ex quote for random quotations.
/ex ver to emit your current YahSEek build to the screen.
/ex joke for random one liner.
/ex tell 'username' commmand 'text' to send the result of any of the above to a user instead of to the room.
(example '/ex tell carbonize g test' would pm the results of a google search on test to carbonize.)
/ex url/email (subject) to open web browser/new email.
/ex spam to advertise YahSEek.
/ex help to get the commands displayed in your chat window.
